Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

This policy explains what we collect when you join the Perry community, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any profile details you choose to add. When you sign up for updates, we collect your email address.

We collect the content you post or share in the community — discussion posts, replies, and any details you choose to include in them.

We automatically collect limited technical information when you use our site, including IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and understand how the site is used.

When you click an affiliate link, our affiliate partners' own tracking (typically a cookie) may record that click; see our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate the community: creating and managing your account, displaying your posts, and enabling you to connect with other members.

We use your email address to send account-related messages and, where you've opted in, community updates, new articles, and product recommendations.

We analyze aggregated, non-identifying usage data to understand which content and products are most useful to the community and to improve the site.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies and affiliate tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for core site functionality, basic analytics, and to keep you signed in.

Affiliate links on our Shop page and in articles use tracking cookies operated by our affiliate partners (such as Amazon Associates or similar programs) so that we can be credited for qualifying purchases. These cookies are set by the third-party retailer, not by Perry, once you click through.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect site functionality.

Sharing and disclosure

We share information with service providers who help us operate the site — email delivery, hosting, and analytics providers — under agreements that limit their use of your data to providing those services.

Content you post publicly in the community (such as discussion replies) is visible to other members and, depending on your settings, may be visible publicly.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our members, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality protections.

Your rights and choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. You cannot opt out of essential account and security messages while your account remains active.

California, Virginia, and other state residents may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws; contact us to exercise these rights.

Children's privacy

Perry is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
